NACCTEP Community College Track FAQs

1. Does this replace the NACCTEP Pre-Conference?

No.  The NACCTEP Pre-Conference will be on Thursday, February 25, 2027 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM followed by a networking reception.  AACTE is creating a dedicated space for community colleges within the national educator preparation conversation on Friday, February 26, 2027.

2. What is the purpose of the NACCTEP Community College Track?

NACCTEP is seeking evidence-based, practical, and forward-looking proposals that show how community colleges strengthen pathways, partnerships, preparation, and the teacher workforce.

3. Is registration required to submit a proposal?

No, submitting a proposal does not require conference registration at this stage.  Presenters whose proposals are accepted will need to register for the AACTE 2027 through AACTE.  Registration instructions and deadlines will be included with the presenter acceptance information.

4. Can I submit the same proposal for the Community College Track that I did for the AACTE 2027?

While there is no rule against this, if your proposal is selected for both the NACCTEP Community College Track and the AACTE Annual Meeting, you may only be accepted for one or the other as determined by the overlap review team.
