National Leaders in Community College Teacher Education Selected for 2025

TEMPE, AZ (April 7, 2025) – The National Association of Community College Teacher Education Programs (NACCTEP) proudly announces the participants selected for the 2025 NACCTEP Leadership Institute, a premier four-part professional development series focused on advancing leadership and innovation in Community College Teacher Education (CCTEd) programs.
Designed for faculty, administrators, and educational leaders across the country, the NACCTEP Leadership Institute offers a collaborative space for sharing best practices, exploring current challenges, and developing actionable strategies supporting teacher education pathways' growth and sustainability in community colleges and partner institutions.
“This year's cohort brings together a well-rounded and dynamic group of leaders shaping the future of teacher preparation,” said Julie Ferin, Executive Director of NACCTEP. “Their expertise, dedication, and collaboration will drive innovation and impact in teacher education programs nationwide.”
The 2025 Institute features four interactive virtual sessions:
April 4 – Leadership, Advocacy, and Policy in CCTEd
April 11 – Pathways, Partnerships, and Workforce Development
April 25 – Innovating and Adapting CCTEd to Meet Today’s Needs
May 2 – Supporting and Developing CCTEd Faculty
Each session features a real-world case study and guided discussion, allowing participants to examine policy shifts, form sustainable partnerships, design innovative solutions, and implement faculty support strategies.
