Kullerstrand Elementary
Wheat Ridge, Colorado
On the Kullerstrand Elementary website, Principal Bill Blandón writes:
Kullerstrand is a small school with a big heart. We tap into the experiences of our school community to offer our students a top-notch education. At Kullerstrand, we truly believe “All means all” and apply our efforts to our district mission, “To provide a quality education that prepares all children for a successful future.”
Kullerstrand Elementary is a K-6 school within the Jeffco Public Schools with a diverse population that has formed dynamic partnerships with local business. Old Chicago, Mimi’s Café, and McDonald’s are supporters of Kullerstrand. It is also working with the school district’s Positive Behavior Support (PBS). PBS is a research-based program where school staff learns how to teach their students the rules of behavior to work in a positive way. Kullerstrand works with their parents to promote the school through the community by having as many night activities as possible. Kullerstrand is trying to promote their school within the community by making the school website user-friendly.
